Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk 2008

If you know someone who has been affected by Alzheimer's, then you know how important it is to find a cure. That's why the Alzheimer's Association is having a Memory Walk in 2008 to help raise awareness and to gain support for those affected by this illness.

If you would like to walk in the Alzheimer's Memory Walk in your neighborhood, check out their website. You can form your own team, or join an already existing team in your area.

Volunteers are needed to help with the 2-3 mile walk which will take place this fall. Get your friends and family together and come out to support a good cause. I volunteer in my community and get some of my co-workers to come with me. We have a great time, and feel good about helping someone else in need.

Even if you haven't been affected by Alzheimer's, don't let that stop you from joining in. Everyone is welcome to attend the walk, so don't forget to walk for a cure to end Alzheimer's.
