The Amazing Race Tonight

So tonight's episode of the Amazing Race was the last for Grandparents Cathi and Bill. They were the oldest team in the race and they almost made it to the end. They did an amazing job, outlasting many of the younger teams. They were one of my favorites and I am sorry to see them leave. Now, I will be rooting for the snowboarders to win the race.

I visited http://www.directstartv.com/ and upgraded our television package. I honestly really wish that I hadn’t because my husband loves it so much. Now he makes us watch football all of the time because he got all of the sports channels. I got them for his birthday, and it is one gift that he definitely loves. I can’t blame him though, I have things that I love to watch on television, but sports is definitely not it. I will watch some college football, but I really don’t like to watch professional football. I guess I just don’t really understand the rules and know that the game is going to last forever and cut into my prime television time. He likes for me to hang out with him always, so I usually get stuck watching football. I’m glad he got a gift that he loved, but I shouldn’t have gotten every sports game on television that’s for sure! Maybe I should upgrade my end of the program and get more channels like the E! network and make him watch them. That would surely drive him nuts!

Reality Show Addiction

So I've started watching more reality shows on cable, and I think I have a problem... I'm addicted to Gold Rush and Extreme Couponing. And while watching these shows, I see commercials for other reality shows that I want to watch, but am afraid to, for fear of becoming addicted to those too.

The commercials were for Storage Wars, Moon Shiners and Weed Wars. I think Storage Wars looks pretty interesting, but I don't even want to start watching any of them because I already watch too much television as it is.

Is there an "Addicted to Reality Show" - aholics group out there? Because I might have to join soon.

New Favorite Show of the Summer

So my new favorite show this summer is ABC's "Take the Money and Run". The first few minutes of the show, where the contestants have to hide the briefcase full of $100,000, gets my adrenaline pumping and sets the pace for the entire show. It's exciting to see how and where the people hide the money, in the hopes that the "Detectives" won't find it. And the way the interrogators poke and prod their way to find out where the briefcase is hidden amazes me. If you haven't seen this show, you should definitely check it out.

What were they thinking last night on Big Brother??? Why didn't they get Rachel out when they had the chance. Now Brendon is back and they're a power couple again.

And, what the heck was Lawon thinking when he volunteered to be nominated, and evicted??? I bet he's kicking himself for coming up with that stupid idea.
